Cashew Cream Sauce

4-5 cloves of garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp sea salt
1 C. water
3 C raw cashews or macadamia nuts

Make it happen:

Mince the garlic in the blender, then add the remaining ingredients in the order listed and blend until smooth. Add more water if necessary, but you want the mixture to be thick and creamy.

Tips:

For pasta sauce, add ½ of a red pepper and lemon juice.

For Alfredo sauce add lemon juice, unsweetened “milk” of your choice and lemon pepper
Once this has been refrigerated it will become more firm.  You can eat it on crackers, spread it on pita or use as a dip for veggies.
