Yesterday we tried a new breakfast edible and loved it so much I wanted to share. They are Breakfast Patties from the Sunshine Burger Company. These breakfast burgers are all organic patties crafted from beans, rice and seeds. They are nutritionally packed flavor bombs that are easy to make (just heat it up) and are a fantastic alternative to more processed breakfast goodies. I enjoyed mine on a toasted brown rice bagel with spinach and a few slices of a juicy, red tomato.
It was a nice switch from oatmeal or cold cereal and it had great staying power, even after a swimming workout. They are minimally processed with straight forward ingredients. Just the type of “fast food” I would like to have at the ready. Here are the beautiful ingredients of the Hemp-fest Patties.
Organic sunflower seeds
organic brown rice
organic adzuki beans
organic hemp seeds
organic bell pepper
organic black pepper
The Sunshine Burger site has a store locator to help you find their burgers in your area. They come in several different flavors including falafel, which are waiting for me in the freezer now. I think you are really going to enjoy these. If you have tried the other flavors, please share and let us know what you think.
Have a delicious day.
