9/29 Foodborne Illness

Evidently the most delicious Thai food we had in Canada had an unwanted ingredient. Sandy got it first, than about six hours later I had all the symptoms of the worst food poisoning ever.  I am home now after spending five of the longest hours of my life in the back seat of a tiny Mazda with Sandy and my in laws. No cool vegan eateries and no Niagara Falls. Sandy drove her parents car home from Toronto as if we were being chased like fugitives.

I have never, ever been so happy to see the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit skyline as I was today. I had it all planned, if we got stuck at Customs I was going to whip out a Linda Blair impersonation like no other.

Going back to bed now.

Have a delicious day.

It was really unbelievable. We are still on toast and Saltines. Thank you for your kind note and healing energy. I can feel it all the way in Michigan.
