8/25 Whats For Dinner?

I have a minor hoarding issue with cookbooks. I love to look at them and borrow them from the library and collect them from bookstores and friends. Tagging their glossy  pages for future meals fills me with such possibility and promise. The reality of my daily life is that when I need a recipe…I need it right now, not five or six volumes searched  from now. Typically I do a search on the internet.

I have also found that the food blogging community is made up of some of the most creative culinary geniuses I have ever read.  I didn’t read blogs until I started writing Exploits and some of the recipes I have found have blown me away. I read them and say….”Who Does That?!” Then I excitedly tell Sandy that we have to try it immediately.

So, in an effort to be a bountiful resource for all things compassionately consumable,  Exploits now has a search bar where you can type in a recipe you are looking for and it will find it in a food blog for you. I really love that the recipes are coming from blogs because the other resources are easy to find. Lets try some amazing new recipes we may not have otherwise found.

This search tool is new to me as well,  so  let me know how it is working for you. If you love it or if you are having any problems with it.

Have a delicious day.

Awesome! I typed in “vegan sweet potato curry” and found Almond Butter Coconut Sweet Potato Curry from the Book of Yum blog. How delicious does that sound? Thanks for the search tool!

I am so glad it is a helpful tool. I really think it is cool and want it to be a resource for all of us.

That dish sounds absolutely amazing. You must share your thoughts when you try it. Almond butter and curry AND sweet potatoes…oh my goodness.
